Autumn skin sorted with Caudalie.

It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of Caudalie skincare. I don't think there's been a Caudalie product that I haven't liked or a launch that I haven't been excited for. Their simple, fuss-free formulas really agree with my skin, and the brand is my go-to in particular when the temperature drops and my complexion needs a little TLC.
My main goal during the colder months is to keep my skin hydrated and soothed - dehydrated and sensitive is a dangerous combination and I have to do my best to keep my skin under control and avoid major freak-outs; so far these bits have been doing the trick for me.

Let's start with serum. I've been through countless bottles of S.O.S. Thirst Quenching Serum and I keep going back to it as it makes my skin feel better straight away. This is like a light lotion that makes dehydration and fine lines disappear, and leaves the skin looking softer and fresher within seconds. It sinks in so quickly you might think it did absolutely nothing and then bam! Skin is soothed, looks more even and smoother, and feels overall more comfortable. If you struggle with dehydration, here's your new bff. You're welcome.

To seal in the serum I've been using the Moisture Recovery Cream, which has been specially formulated for dry skin types. At first I was concerned this would be too thick and cause a breakout or upset my makeup, but it's quite the opposite. It's perfect to use during the day because even if it feels rich at first, it blends beautifully into the skin and disappears quickly leaving my skin velvety soft and plumper. This cream also helps locking in the moisture so the skin is protected both from cold winds and central heating. No more radiator face for me, thank you very much.

Some people don't get along with oils but I truly can't get enough - they're a nourishing bomb packed with fatty acids and vitamins that never fail to soothe and balance my complexion. I have a few on rotation but my favourite at the minute is the Overnight Vinosource Recover Oil. This Caudalie number is pretty lightweight, so it's perfect for layering or mixing with moisturizer or a creamy overnight mask. It smells like roses, which is so relaxing and uplifting, and even though it's recommended for dry and sensitive complexion, I'm sure it would suit different skin needs since it's not clogging and has a beautiful calming effect.
