What's the beginning of a new year without all the beauty rounds-up? If you're anything like me, you too have a soft spot for these kind of posts as they really give you an insight of everyone's most loved and used products, and of course lots of inspiration for the wishlist for the upcoming months.
As you all know, I am a huge lover of skincare and beauty tools, so this one was fairly stressful for me to narrow down. There were definitely a lot of products that could have made the list but these are the ones that ultimately came through for me. Whether you're after a beautiful eye treatment or a lovely glow to tackle the winter blues, these have you covered!

Lush Halloween 2022 - No tricks, just treats.

Even if it doesn't really feel like autumn yet and the usual suspects such as fuzzy scarves, steamy PSLs, oversized jumpers are still on stand-by, it only took me a quick shop at Lush to fully get in Fall mood. This year's Halloween collection might be the biggest one yet, with old and new favourites and all things spooky with aliens, vampires and pumpkins everywhere. 5 Skincare favourites in 2021.

 

I know I say something along these lines every single year, but I can't believe 2021 came to an end and we're already in 2022. The past year truly went by in a blink of an eye, yet somehow was super tiring and stressful. So long! My main focus in the last 12 months has been on keeping my skin in decent conditions and fighting maskne and dryness on a daily basis. I'm so thankful I had some amazing skincare products by my side and today I'm excited to share with you my favourites, the products I've been using a lot lately and I'll probably be using just as much in the upcoming months. 

Three from Lush Christmas 2021.

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas lights are up, it's appropriate to have hot chocolate multiple times a day, and somehow glitters mysteriously start popping up all over the place. And let's not forget bath season is in full swing and a trip to Lush is basically mandatory. I recently picked up three products that really caught my attention among the many gorgeous goodies of the Holiday collection and thought I'd share my picks in case you're still undecided about what to get.

A Charlotte Tilbury wishlist.

Although I'm still in full-on Autumn mood for now, with less than 40 sleeps 'till Christmas *screams internally* a part of my brain that was completely focused on pumpkins, fluffy scarves and golden leaves, is now compiling mental wishlists for Santa and Black Friday.
I guess it makes sense to start with Charlotte Tilbury products as they're always on my mind and my cart is forever overflowing with new shades of lipstick, gorgeous skincare and everything rose gold. Who else feels like a pre-Holiday self treat?

A Paula's Choice duo I love.

The temps have dropped and it's finally starting to feel like Autumn! The edges of the leaves are turning golden outside my window and the air is getting colder and colder everyday.
Now is the perfect time to upgrade my routine, much like a change of wardrobe to suit the seasonal changes, and add more nourishing and hydrating products to my rotation. With the radiators turning on inside and the crispy breeze outdoors, my dry skin needs some extra love or else it'll start to look parched and flakey. A 2020 beauty recap.

I'm just as keen to leave 2020 behind and never look back as anyone else, but before I can turn the page and focus on the good things that New Year will hopefully bring, I'm sure a good ol' beauty recap won't hurt. In retrospect, 2020 has been an odd one for obvious reasons, mostly focused on self care and skin products with some makeup bits here and there for those 'feel better' looks meant to boost the mood more than anything. Of all the beauty bits I've tried for the first time and those that were already well loved, these are the ones that stood out the most.

I love these first few days of January as I always feel inspired and full of positive energy. It's the perfect time to get rid of dried-out mascaras and underwear with sagging elastics, write down goals and resolutions, and above all for the traditional yearly beauty wrap ups. I'm a skincare addict and anyone who knows me knows that. I love trying new ranges and products and there's so much wonderful skincare on the market at the minute. As a beauty lover there's nothing more thrilling than discovering a hidden gem or beautiful new brand that ticks all the boxes.
My love affair with Dr Roebuck's started early this year and I must tell you all about them, as it's one of the most beautiful skincare ranges I've seen in a long time.

Between you and me, I'm not a huge fan of Valentine's Day per se, but if soppy cards and cheesy gifts leave me completely unimpressed, I'm always here for the Lush Valentines range. A Cosy Christmas Wish List.

Is there anything better than tucking in with a good book, a stack of festive films ready and waiting, and a steaming cup of hot chocolate with too many mini-marshmallows to count piled on top? I don't think so. If anybody needs me, I'll be here for the foreseeable future.

The Holidays are almost here! The lights, the songs, the heavy knits and fluffy scarves... I'm so excited I can barely sit still. During the last few days I've been in full-on gift giving mode and whilst I was racking my brains to find the best presents for my dad and friends, I jotted down a little list of the things I'm hoping to unwrap - or snatch up on Boxing Day, because we all know I have zero self control and the post-Christmas sales are just too good to brush off.

Autumn skin sorted with Caudalie.

It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of Caudalie skincare. I don't think there's been a Caudalie product that I haven't liked or a launch that I haven't been excited for. Their simple, fuss-free formulas really agree with my skin, and the brand is my go-to in particular when the temperature drops and my complexion needs a little TLC.
My main goal during the colder months is to keep my skin hydrated and soothed - dehydrated and sensitive is a dangerous combination and I have to do my best to keep my skin under control and avoid major freak-outs; so far these bits have been doing the trick for me.

Trying out Dermalogica Skincare.

Truth be told, this post is way overdue. I wanted to share this weeks ago but, you know, life. But maybe that's a good thing because I've had more time to use these products and now I can give you an even better review.
