It's that time of the year again, when my favourite products hit the shelves at Lush and the smell of everything cosy and spicy fills my home. This year's Halloween collection is super colourful and full of variety, with a mix of old favourites and fun new additions peaking from the counter. After a lot of thinking and sniffing around, I decided to grab two pieces that perfectly represent the two sides of this cheerful festivity.
I was so happy to see Lord of Misrule in the lineup, I immediately planned a trip to the closest store to stock up on a few bottles - there's even a humongous 1kg bottle that was so tempting! - as it's my absolute favourite. This cheeky green shower gel is ultra creamy and lathers to perfection, leaving the skin soft and heavenly scented for hours. The notes of patchouli, vanilla and black peppercorn are perfectly balanced for a dreamy sweet and spicy mix that satisfies both my candy cravings and my cosy needs.For something more traditionally autumnal, I can't recommend Pumpkin Spice soap enough. I guarantee this'll be an instant crush for all my fellow PSL lovers: creamy pumpkin, maple syrup and heady five-spice envelop your skin in a warm hug, and feel extra snug and comforting. It took me a while to figure out why this fragrance felt so familiar to me and then I remembered the namesake lip scrub from two years ago that was so divine and totally needs to make a comeback at some point. This soap is my new obsession! I already have a backup and I may or may not have slipped a chunk in a drawer to infuse my scarves with it's dreamy notes...

E' di nuovo quel periodo dell'anno in cui i miei prodotti preferiti approdano sugli scaffali di Lush e tutta la casa profuma di coccole e spezie. La collezione di Halloween di quest'anno è coloratissima e molto varia, con un bel mix di vecchie glorie e divertenti novità ben ordinate sui banconi. Dopo un'attenta riflessione e una bella annusata, ho deciso di portarmi a casa due prodotti che rappresentano perfettamente la doppia faccia di quest'allegra festività.
Sono stata così felice di rivedere Lord of Misrule nel range che ho subito programmato un viaggio al negozio più vicino per far scorta di bottiglie - ce n'è pure una gigantesca da 1 Kg che è una tentazione immensa! -, proprio perché è il mio preferito. Questo sfacciato gel doccia verde brillante è cremosissimo e si trasforma in una graziosa schiuma stregata, che lascia la pelle morbida e intensamente profumata per ore. Le note di patchouli, vaniglia e pepe nero sono perfettamente bilanciate per un mix da sogno dolce e speziato che soddisfa allo stesso tempo la mia voglia di dolcetti e il mio bisogno di coccole.
Per qualcosa di più tradizionalmente autunnale invece, non posso che consigliarvi il sapone nudo Pumpkin Spice. Sono sicura che farà battere forte il cuore a tutti gli amanti del Pumpkin Spice Latte: zucca cremosa, sciroppo d'acero e miscela 5 spezie avvolgono la pelle in un caldo abbraccio, che scalda il cuore e risveglia i sensi. Ci ho messo un po' a capire perché la sua fragranza mi fosse così famigliare e alla fine mi sono ricordata dell'omonimo scrub labbra di un paio di anni fa che era assolutamente divino e spero torni presto disponibile. Inutile dire che questo sapone è la mia nuova ossessione! Ne ho già un pezzo di scorta e potrei averne fatto scivolare un pezzettino in un cassetto per profumare sciarpe e pigiami con le sue note meravigliose...
