Lush Halloween 2022 - No tricks, just treats.

Even if it doesn't really feel like autumn yet and the usual suspects such as fuzzy scarves, steamy PSLs, oversized jumpers are still on stand-by, it only took me a quick shop at Lush to fully get in Fall mood. This year's Halloween collection might be the biggest one yet, with old and new favourites and all things spooky with aliens, vampires and pumpkins everywhere. If you're looking for last minute inspiration, these are my top 3 picks!

I Want My Mummy* bath bomb is an absolute must have for all clean scents lovers like me. Without glitters or a bath art, this bomb is not flashy or spectacular, but the oils and chunks of cocoa butter make up for it. It's a slow fizzer and creates a lovely comforting bath with lots of moisture that won't leave you disappointed. The scent is creamy and delightful, and reminds me of Butterball and Honey I washed the kids with notes of vanilla, caramel and white chocolate. It's one of the cheapest numbers in the collection and I wouldn't miss it.

As far as I'm concerned it's not Halloween without Lord of Misrule so obviously I had to grab a bottle of my favourite shower gel. It's just as lovely and creamy as I remembered and smells absolutely dreamy. The mix of vanilla, patchouli and black pepper checks all the boxes for me: it's sweet, spicy and warm, and it's perfect for those days when I can't decide between a yummy and a cosy fragrance. I was delighted to see so many variations of this gorgeous scent this year and I can't rule out a last minute trip to the shop to grab the massage bar or the body spray, as both sound heavenly.

Lastly, I've been praying Lush would release a candle range inspired by their glorious scents for ages and I'm so pleased it's finally happening. I've read mixed reviews about them and I don't know if I got a good batch, but my Lord of Misrule soywax candle smells fantastic and has a very nice throw. My only complaint is that for 15€ is a tad small but I'm gonna savour it and try to make it last as long as I can. Hope to see more candles from Lush as there's so much potential!

Anche se non sembra autunno e i classici di stagione come sciarpe pelosine, PSL fumanti e maglioni oversize non hanno ancora fatto il loro debutto ufficiale, mi è bastato fare un giro veloce da Lush per immergermi nell'atmosfera di fine Ottobre. La collezione di Halloween di quest'anno potrebbe essere la più ricca di sempre con vecchie conoscenze e nuove chicche, e ogni genere di prodotto spaventoso tra vampiri, alieni e zucche sdentate. Se siete ancora alla ricerca di un po' d'ispirazione, questa è la mia top 3!

I Want My Mummy* bomba da bagno è praticamente indispensabile per chi ama il profumo di pulito come la sottoscritta. Senza glitter o colori appariscenti, non è particolarmente vistosa o spettacolare, ma gli oli e i pezzetti di burro di cupuaçu si fanno perdonare. Frizza lentamente e crea un incantevole bagno bianco, confortevole e super idratante che non deluderà. Il profumo è cremoso e da leccarsi i baffi, molto simile a Butterball e Honey I washed the kids! con note di vaniglia, caramello e cioccolato bianco. E' uno dei prodotti più economici della collezione e non me lo lascerei scappare.

Per quanto mi riguarda, non è Halloween senza Lord of Misrule per cui ovviamente ho acquistato una bottiglia del mio gel doccia preferito. E' cremoso e goloso come lo ricordavo e il profumo è sempre delizioso. Il mix di vaniglia, patchouli e pepe nero è ideale sotto ogni punto di vista: è dolce, speziato e avvolgente, perfetto se non so decidermi tra una doccia golosa e una indulgente. Quest'anno è presente in molte varianti e non escludo di fare un salto dell'ultimo minuto in negozio a prendere l'olio da massaggio o lo spray corpo, perché sembrano entrambi meravigliosi.

Per finire, sono anni che prego perché Lush metta in produzione una collezione di candele ispirate ai suoi profumi più famosi e finalmente ci siamo. Ho letto recensioni contrastanti e non so se sono stata fortunata, ma la mia candela di soia Lord of Misrule ha un profumo favoloso e una buona portata. Se devo trovarle un difetto, per 15€ è un po' piccolina ma me la gusterò e cercherò di farla durare il più possibile. Spero ci siano altre candele nel futuro di Lush perché il potenziale è infinito!
