A Spring Haul.

There's no better time for a skincare refresh than Spring and since I've been itching to try something new for ages, I decided the turn of the season was the perfect moment to tick off a few names from my endless wishlist. From the cutest set of mini masks to a beautiful cleanser to a cheeky new fragrance picked up on a whim, here are my most recent purchases and a few first impressions.

The first product that went into my basket is the Origins Clear, Hydrate & Glow Mask Trio. I'm a sucker for masks so I really couldn't miss on it as the set includes the Drink up Intensive Overnight Mask, which is an old favourite of mine and really plumps and hydrates the skin while you catch some z's. It also features the Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask, ideal for a deep cleanse of the skin, and the Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay. This is a gentle all-arounder that cleanses pores and creates a mild exfoliation that leaves the skin brighter and softer, and has quite a calming effect on my sensitive complexion.

As I’ve heard nothing but good things about it, I also grabbed a tube of the Origins Cleansing Makeup Removing Jelly. I've been using it non-stop for the last few days and I can only describe this cleanser as heavenly. It's a delicate gel that melts away any trace of makeup - including waterproof mascara - within seconds and then quickly washes away leaving no residue behind. If you're searching for your new go-to makeup remover than you need to try this out, especially if you're someone who doesn't enjoy using oils and balms.

Since I've been struggling with flakiness and dry patches lately, I also ended up getting the Clinique Moisture Surge 72 hours Auto-replenishing Hydrator. This stuff is no joke and relieved my thirsty skin right from the first use. The lightweight gel-cream really packs a punch, keeping the skin hydrated all day while boosting hyaluronic acid production to keep the moisture locked in. I picked up the Moisture Surge Overnight Mask as well as it sounded equally amazing. I love overnight masks as they're the easiest way to treat the skin and effortlessly wake up with plump and glowy complexion. I've only tried it once so far and I really enjoyed it.

I know you're all probably tired to hear me talk about the Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado but this is truly my favourite eye cream to use in the morning. I think I'm onto my 5th or 6th jar of this and that's how much I love it. It leaves my skin feeling so quenched and nourished without feeling heavy or oily. It's water based so it suitable for everyone and instantly gets rid of dryness and fine lines - and if you pop it in the fridge and use it cold it also decreases puffiness.

Last but not least, a while ago I had the chance to smell every single one of the Maison Margiela Replica fragrances and I haven't been able to get Beach Walk out of my mind ever since. I'm quite picky when it comes to perfumes and this instantly ticked all the boxes for me. It's light and airy, and smells like sunny days and open spaces, warm sand and a hint of sun cream. It's truly magical and the bottle fits my aesthetic perfectly.

Have you given any of these products a whirl? Did something catch your eye?
