Three picks from Lush Mother's Day collection.

With Mother's Day just around the corner, you might still be looking for a lovely gift to put a smile on her face. Cute, beautifully scented bath and shower bits are always a hit in my books, as it's anything that inspires a moment of quiet and a well deserved 'me time', especially for someone that is always so busy and puts everyone else first. Today I'm sharing the best products from the Lush Mother's Day collection, so read along if you need some inspo for your next shopping spree!

First on list has to be Avo Cuddle bubble bar*, as it's easily the stand out product from this years' line and I love all things avocado like any other millennial. This cutie is big enough for multiple baths and creates tons of beautiful bubbles while turning the bath lime green. With fragrant lemongrass and uplifting bergamot, Avo Cuddle fills the whole room of the heady scent that lingers on the skin for hours like a joyful hug. I love it and I would love to see it in future products, cause it's super refreshing and I can't stop smelling it.

If you enjoy bright and cheerful scents, then I would recommend checking out Buzzy Mum soap* as it immediately put a smile on my face as soon as I opened my Lush box. This is a return from last year and I'm not surprised considering it's the most perfect spring/summer scent: the mix of carnation and mimosa absolutes, and zesty wild orange is super energizing and evokes a sunny day in a colourful flower field. The soap itself is creamy and moisturising, and will leave your hands eneveloped in the gorgeous scent for a while.

As we move into warmer months and shower season, I couldn't leave out one of Lush beautiful shower gels. Mimosa took me by surprise with its lively scent, as I was expecting to smell the flower but got a jolly noseful of the cocktail instead. Add a dash of orange juice and something boozy I can't really place to the predominant elderflower, and you'll get a very unique fragrance. As I tend to gravitate toward sweet, cosy scents when it comes to shower gels, Mimosa brought a lovely change to my shower plate, plus it's truly softening thanks to lots of glycerin.

Lastly -not pictured but only because I haven't got it yet -, I had to mention Sticky Syrup soap, if only for the unbelievable scent. Just like Sticky Dates shower gel, this little wonder smells like syrupy, dark caramel brought a touch too far. The hint of bitterness in the background is a clever twist that keeps this number from smelling sickening and overly sweet, albeit it remains absolutely mouthwatering. I'm so obsessed with it I want to go back and grab a lifetime supply of this marvel for the scent alone.

Con la Festa della Mamma alle porte, potreste essere ancora alla ricerca di un bel regalo che le strappi un sorriso. Per quanto mi riguarda i prodotti per il bagno e la doccia, specialmente se carini e profumati, sono sempre una buona idea perché ispirano un momento di calma e tranquillità più che meritato, soprattutto per una persona così impegnata e che mette gli altri sempre al primo posto. Oggi condivido i migliori prodotti della collezione Lush per la Festa della Mamma, quindi continuate a leggere se avete bisogno di ispirazione per il vostro shopping profumato!

Il primo della lista è Avo Cuddle bubble bar*, probabilmente il prodotto che spicca di più nella linea di quest'anno, e poi da brava millennial non so resistere agli avocado. Questa delizia è abbastanza grande per più bagni e crea un'infinità di soffici bolle, colorando l'acqua di verde lime. Con fragrante citronella e bergamotto rinvigorente, Avo Cuddle riempie l'intera stanza di un profumo inebriante che persiste sulla pelle per ore come un abbraccio gioioso. Lo adoro e mi piacerebbe vederlo nelle collezioni a venire, perché è super rinfrescante e non riesco davvero a smettere di annusarlo.

Se vi piacciono i profumi vivaci e allegri, vi consiglio di provare il sapone Buzzy Mum*, che mi ha fatto sorridere non appena ho aperto la scatola Lush. E' un gradito ritorno dall'anno scorso e non mi sorprende visto che è il profumo ideale per la primavera/estate: il mix di essenza assoluta di garofano e mimosa, e di arancia selvatica è super energizzante ed evoca una giornata di sole in un campo di fiori colorati. Il sapone in sé è incredibilmente cremoso e idratante, e lascerà le vostre mani avvolte da questo splendido profumo per un bel po'.

Con l'arrivo dei mesi più caldi e della stagione delle docce, non potevo dimenticare uno dei bellissimi gel doccia di Lush. Mimosa mi ha colto di sorpresa con il suo profumo vivace: svitando il tappo, credevo di annusare il fiore e invece mi ha investita il profumo del cocktail. Aggiungete al fiore di sambuco predominante qualche goccia di succo d'arancia e un nonsoché di alcolico che non riesco a definire, e otterrete una fragranza davvero unica. Dato che tendo a prediligere i profumi dolci e confortanti, Mimosa ha portato un pizzico di brio nella mia doccia, e in più grazie alla glicerina vegetale lascia la pelle morbidissima e perfettamente idratata.

Infine - non incluso nella foto ma solo perché non l'ho ancora preso -, non potevo non citare il sapone Sticky Syrup, se non altro per l'incredibile profumo. Proprio come il gel doccia Sticky Dates, questa piccola meraviglia sa di caramello sciropposo e scuro portato un pizzico oltre il limite. La nota delicatamente amara in sottofondo è quel qualcosa in più che impedisce a questo sapone di risultare stucchevole ed eccessivamente dolce, pur rimanendo assolutamente goloso. Ne sono talmente ossessionata che vorrei tornare in negozio e prendere un blocco intero di questa meraviglia solo per il suo profumo.
